Mad Hatter is inspired by the classic Lewis Carroll story of Alice in Wonderland.
This is the second (and sadly, last) in Chris's New Journey, creating beaded pieces meant to be hung on display rather than worn.
This pattern requires 29 colors of beads. Chris used a couple Aiko beads in her original creation. I've substituted the closest Delicas that match. She also used a few Delicas that have since been discontinued, again I've specified the closest matches from currently available beads. These were all verified using an up to date sample card from Miyuki.
Due to the complexity of the design, the closeness of many colors to each other and the closeness of many of the DB numbers to each other, this pattern is sold only with the word chart included.
The finished piece measures approximately 4 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches, depending on how tight or loose your stitching is.
Included with the pattern is piece of plastic canvas than you can tack the piece onto inorder to mainitian its shape.
