I was watching the Christopher Lowell show one day and he made several references to the time that he was involved with theater. The drama masks have long been symbols for the theater and I saw it as a challenge. Aside from the Celtic Knot, Drama Masks was my first real design which started an avalanche of designs, many of which are still in my sketchbook.
